Support For Your
Self-Healing Journey
None of us have to reinvent the wheel. If you wish you could cope with stress more successfully, why not work with someone who has been there and has her own long history of managing stress? Why not make things easier on yourself?
Proven Transformative Techniques
My work is tailored to the individual and is based on each person’s situation and current stress levels. Our life’s experiences impact each of us in unique ways and I respect that. We will design our work together specifically for you, to help you find your way to inner peace as quickly as possible.
Your sessions will be created with my own blend of Feldenkrais, Qigong, breathwork, sound healing, meditation, and various other modalities. Everything I do has a long history of consistently helping people and all are enjoyable and easily done. Nothing I do will cause anyone further stress or pain of any kind.
Private Sessions
If you’re simply fed up with being nervous and anxious, and are exhausted from the endless strain, stress, worry, and tension, I’m here to assure you that change is always possible.
I’m here to show you that no matter what is going on around you, it is possible to find another way, change your perspective, change what goes on inside you, focus your attention differently, calm yourself using breathing, move your body in new ways, and learn how to experience ongoing joy and awe for all the days of your life. Wouldn’t you rather live like that? Sounds like a lot more fun, doesn’t it?
Change is absolutely possible, at any time, for anyone, of any age, in any condition, and under all but perhaps the most extremely dire circumstances. Once you get the hang of it, it isn’t even very difficult. I’d be delighted to share what I know with you.

Session Benefits
Stress Relief
When our inability to handle stress well wrecks our enjoyment of life, let alone our sleep, energy, and digestion, the best thing we can do for ourselves is to learn some simple tools for handling stress better.
Sleep
Losing sleep over upsetting events or personal situations is common, and the best way to address this issue is to learn how to handle stress in a healthier way, including finding ways to address our daily issues well before it is time to sleep, and using breathwork or other techniques to calm down before we go to sleep.
Energy & Vitality
Stressed out people are usually nervous wrecks, and by addressing the stress head on, and consciously changing some aspects of our responses to it, our vim and vigor can easily return.
Digestion
A huge amount of our immune system is found in our digestive system, and because the lining of the gut is composed of so many nerve cells communicating directly with our brains that it is often called our “second brain”, it’s easy to understand that relieving stress and calming down our minds can often relieve digestion problems as well.
Balance
Finding one’s balance, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and metaphorically, is essential for relieving stress symptoms and initiating the healing process.
Repetitive Stress Relief
As repetitive stress problems are usually caused by doing awkward movements repeatedly, even to the point of injury, learning a better movement can be almost magically healing.
Feldenkrais®
Feldenkrais uses a series of gentle movements to encourage awareness of how one’s body is moving, improve physical and mental well-being, and to release tensions that cause pain, anxiety, and stress. It can be done with verbal instructions or through hands-on work by a practitioner.
Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais was an internationally recognized physicist who injured his knee playing soccer. To help himself heal, he developed an original method based on biomechanical principles. While doing Feldenkrais, we pay attention to reducing effort, monitoring breathing, and executing movements in a range of motion that is easy and comfortable. This makes it appropriate for anyone of any age or physical condition. Feldenkrais is the polar opposite of the concept of no pain, no gain.
“Nothing is permanent about our behavior patterns except our belief that they are so.” Moshe Feldenkrais
Qigong
Archeological evidence in China shows the earliest records of qigong practice in images on Neolithic pottery dated between 6000-3000 BC. The name qigong combines two Chinese words. Qi means energy or life force, and gong means work or practice, and so the word qigong means the work or practice of improving one’s energy and life force. Qigong is done through gentle movements, certain body postures, breathing, visualization, chanting, and meditation, all of which are used for the purposes of health and well-being. The movements are all easy and enjoyable. Qigong is a very gentle practice, and its movements can be done by anyone, of any age, in any condition.

Sound Healing
Anyone who has been under a lot of stress has a nervous system that has been jostled about considerably. Some of us have even ended up in an almost continuous state of anxiety. The fastest and easiest way to calm ourselves down and return to inner quiet is with sound, with music, yes, but also with other sound explorations such as tuning forks. One of my teachers, Dr. John Beaulieu, has shown that it is possible to actually “tune” human beings.
Sound is a major mode of human expression and humanity has been exploring sound during our entire history. This fact is clearly shown by the discovery of bone flutes that are among the oldest human artifacts. We use sound to speak and share our thoughts and feelings, as well as knowledge. Most of us have sung at one time or another. Sound also surrounds us every day of our lives. Recorded music is everywhere and many listen hours a day. As we are continuously immersed in countless sounds from both nature and human activity, why not make attention to sound a marvelous source of healing and joy and include it in your healing journey? It’s also a lot of fun!
Root Cause Protocol®
Extended periods of stress have tremendous physical costs too, and it is virtually guaranteed that anyone with significant stress has some physical symptoms due to burning through the body’s store of minerals and other nutrients very quickly. This is a major effect of stress, which dysregulates our bodies very quickly. If we are seeking to rebalance ourselves, it pays to examine what we need to do to implement some gradual changes that will help us feel better as well as make de-stressing easier, quicker, and more effective.
The RCP offers a systematic, step by step program to help restore mineral balance. Once mineral balance is improved and restored, many people find their symptoms resolve, and they realize they also have more energy and zest for living.
Self-Healing
for Musicans
Acquiring a skill is very different from acquiring knowledge because both involve different parts of ourselves. Most musicians and teachers do not acknowledge this fundamental difference at all. Many do not know it exists, and as a result music making can be taught in ways that are not effective in the long run, no matter how sincere the teacher or dedicated the student. Though my approach is unusual, it works, often very quickly. I help people find their way back to pain-free, fluent playing that sounds wonderful and feels good too.
Pianists are whole human beings, not just hands, fingers, and arms. Yes, it must feel good to play, so learning healthy technical skills is important. But the rest of ourselves is involved too, including our emotions and psyches. Worst of all, we can find we are not even paying attention to how the music we are making actually sounds and how it is affecting us. The whole point of making music is to play with sound after all! Listening well and opening ourselves up to what we truly hear when we play will free up all our greatest musical potential. If you are curious, let’s talk.
